When Should the Offer be More than List Price

Price is a very sensitive topic in home buying. Sellers and buyers usually have conflicting interests in setting the price they want. Sellers would want the most for their property. If they were only permitted, they’d set a high asking price or purchase list according to what they think the property is worth. On the other, buyers would naturally want to get an opportunity to purchase the property lower than the asking price. This is because most buyers are practical and they want to cut the cost to use the savings for other expenditures.

However, no seller or buyer can get ahead of each other. That is why both parties need to work out a deal before any purchase could push through. And this starts as soon as the buyer makes an offer.
